Privacy Notice

Last updated October 2026. This notice explains how the FC 27 1V1 Championship organiser (the "data controller") uses your information under UK GDPR.

What we collect

Your email address (for sign-in and match emails), EA ID, gamertag, platform, an optional WhatsApp number, optional photo, team name and stream link, your score reports and screenshots, and your match chat messages.

Why we use it

Only to run the tournament: pairing you with opponents, showing the bracket, checking results and disputes, sending match emails, and contacting the prize winner. Our lawful basis is running the tournament you signed up for, plus our legitimate interest in keeping it fair.

Who can see it

Everyone can see your gamertag, platform, photo, team name, stream link and approved scores. Your current opponent also sees your EA ID so you can connect in-game. Admins see everything, including your email and WhatsApp number. Your WhatsApp number and email are never shown publicly or to other players.

AI score checks

Admins may use an AI tool to compare your screenshots with the reported scores. It only gives advice; a person makes every final decision.

Who we share it with

We never sell your data. It is stored with our hosting and email providers, who only process it for us. Prize winners' payment details are used only to pay the prize.

How long we keep it

We keep tournament data for 12 months after the Final, then delete it. Champion and bracket results (gamertag and scores) may be kept as a public record.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or leave the tournament at any time. Ask in your match chat or contact the organiser. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Payments

Entry is free. We never collect card or payment details on this site.
